Additional License Program Description
Bilingual Endorsement
The MTEC Bilingual Endorsement Program is a one year proficiency-based program for currently licensed teachers throughout the state of Wisconsin who want to add a Bilingual Endorsement to their Wisconsin Certification. The program is open to licensed teachers who hold a certification in elementary, special education, or in a content area and have a school assignment in a bilingual classroom.

Initial Educator Certification Program
MTEC's Initial Educator Certification Program provides individuals who possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university the opportunity to earn a license to teach in the state of Wisconsin.
The program provides a "fast track" to Wisconsin Teacher licensure in selected certification areas. Selected candidates participate in a pre-service program to learn the fundamental principles of teaching. Interns also participate in educational courses throughout the year that focus on principles of learning and effective instructional strategies.
